Day Shift

6am Sign out in workrooms, Log into Voalte
–1st Floor Workroom
–4th Floor Workroom
6.30am-8am Pre-round. Voalte message charge RN, CM, SW, Attending before rounds with potential discharges
7am Check in with colleagues to see how can help each other out
8-8.30am AMR/Grand Rounds (Friday Forum at 8am, all others at 830am)
9am Rounds begin
Seniors message attending where to start
10am Residents begin receiving new admissions 
12pm-1pm Noon Conference, Seniors change Voalte status to "Busy", Interns completely log off
1pm-5pm Finish work, continue to take new admissions 
Staff admits before 3.30pm with day attending
Staff admits 4pm-5pm with swing/night hospitalists
Check in with colleagues to see how can help each other out, involve hospitalist if needed
5pm Housestaff arrives for admission, day team done with admissions
6pm Signout, log out of Voalte, leave hospital

First team up is RRT/Code White Responder

Night Shift

6pm - Arrive to hospital, log into Voalte, receive sign out
630pm - Begin taking admissions, teams rotate through every 4th admission except on weekends where teams rotate every 2nd admit
630pm-7pm New distribution order will be sent to you by Doc of the Day - Lists reset nightly based on team census
7pm Check in with colleagues to see how can help each other out, involve hospitalist if needed
630pm-12am Staff with night hospitalist
12am-5am Continue admissions, to be staffed by day hospitalist in the morning
5am-6am Golden Hour - Eyeball/place general orders if admissions arrive
6am Signout, log out of Voalte, leave hospital

Weekends

Daytime: Admissions alternate between 2 day color teams (not post-call) during the day 
Night: Admissions alternate between 4 color teams 
Day admit team holds admit phone until float hospitalist arrives. Should be day team who is rounding second. 
Now 4 attendings rounding on each color team. Attendings will also split Platinum/Silver patients and see those on their own. 

Housestaff

1 resident (2 during winter), Admit from 5pm-6.30pm. 3 admits max per resident
Any additional admits during this time
- Assigned to night team but NOT sent out via Voalte until 6pm, eyeball/general orders by attending
- Attendings may do full admission at their discretion
